Vulcanized natural rubber exhibits an incredible number of applications. Now functional composite rubber-nanoparticle oxides have been developed. New properties beyond of mechanical one were inserted gives origin to a new magnetic material.

Why is it important?
Manipulation, fixation and adhesion are now more simple procedure. Applications of vulcanized rubber, where direct contact of rubber with steel and your pairs are necessary now are more efficient and fairly sure. If level of magnetic properties need to tailored this new material support a re-engineering.
Perspectives
New classes of microwave absorbers, vibration absorbers, anti-vibration pads, vibration dampers and advanced functional O-rings can be developed. Magnetic, Mechanical and Dielectrical MagMeD properties can be simultaneously engineered. In this sense, robust production processes can be applied in the performance increasing of the MagMeD properties.
