What is it about?

It determined the factors that affect the usability of educational web portal. It also unifies the conflicting results about age as a predictor/non-predictor of usability. When older people are COMMITTED to the use the web portal technology, it can be expected that they will be engaged in using the said technology.

Older people can no longer make excuses for not using new technologies. The non-use of technology should not be attributed to advanced age. It is attributed to their non-commitment to use new technologies.

Perspectives

With this study, age can no longer be used excused in using portal technologies. All it has to take is commitment [to the use of the web portal].
