Why is it important?
This study demonstrates the feasibility of integrating GenAI-assisted podcasts within existing curriculum constraints. It offers practical guidance for educators implementing AI-assisted educational resources. The study provides preliminary evidence that GenAI-assisted podcasts may support research literacy amongst some learners
Perspectives
Professionally, this experience was particularly important to me as a Gen-AI podcast creator, providing a valuable opportunity to critically evaluate the benefits, challenges, and future opportunities associated with emerging generative AI technologies. It also enabled me to deepen my understanding of how these innovations can be applied to enhance communication, education, and professional practice. Collaborating with highly respected colleagues was equally rewarding, offering the opportunity to exchange diverse perspectives, learn from their expertise, and contribute to a shared goal within a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
