What is it about?

in health care it is easy to take 'general' approach and often patients are treated the same way without taking personal preferences in account. it is important to provide opportunities for patients to tell what they perceive to be the most important in their care.

Why is it important?

it is important to give patients a 'voice,' to find out what the patient find to be important in their care. Narrative Inquiry gives the research participant an opportunity to tell their story and is presented to the reader in a language that is easy to read.

Perspectives

I like writing/ promoting Narrative Inquiry as the results are presented as narratives. quite often the research findings are presented in such a way it is difficult to understand. Narrative inquiry should be presented in such a way it is easy to read and understand.
