What is it about?

Flotation is important process in the recovery of valuable minerals. Most of the chemicals used in flotation are toxic and environmental harmful and thus we have studied their replacement with biobased materials. Nanocellulose, which has low toxicity and is obtained from natural biomasses (wood) is shown to be efficient material to replace traditional flotation chemicals.
