Why is it important?

Our findings show that under the chain-end scission mechanism of hydrolysis common to cellobiohydrolase and glucoamylase, the numerical technique can be used to speed up computation efficiently.

Perspectives

This work is particularly important for those who are working in biomass disruption. Before any biomass can be efficiently utilized, it has to be broken down, and the tool we have developed provides a platform to capture this fundamental phenomenon.
