We evaluated the impact of the diagnosis of hepatitios B and C on the health quality of life in a seropositive blood donors during the notification and counseling process.

Why is it important?
The process of notification and counseling can affect the health quality of life among healthy donors and those infected with hepatitis B and C. Hepatitis B and Cinfection can also affect the health quality of life among carriers of these viruses.
Perspectives
We are confident that studies that provide a broader knowledge of health quality of life among healthy and infected blood donors can aid the implementation of public health policies not only by providing a broader and more comprehensive approach by health professionals but also by promoting a more dignified and humanized approach to these individuals.
