What is it about?

G. pyloalis is an important pest of mulberry which in turn is a host to silkworm. Therefore, advancement in understanding the biology of this pest helps to maintain a healthy plant for farmers that rear silkworm.

As far as silkworm is important hence it is worth to have some basic knowledge in this regard.

Perspectives

It was a great pleasure working with one of my best students who contributed immensely both in her M Sc. and Ph.D theses to the study of G. pyloalis.
