What is it about?

The present study aims to investigate the effect of butyric acid used as an additive and its concentration ranging between 50 ppm and 250 ppm during the polymorphic phase transformation of β-glycine to α-glycine. The other purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of butyric acid on thermal decomposition behavior and calculate the activation energies of the crystals obtained in a pure and a butyric acid media using various kinetic models.
