Why is it important?

Non-economic incentive policy impact for the promotion of electric vehicles is quantified and addressed. This study is expected to provide a more realistic assessment of the competitiveness of electric vehicles and conventional vehicles in the Chinese market and establish a framework for more comprehensive policy analysis toward promoting electric vehicles.

Perspectives

Due to the financial pressure brought by the subsidy, the implementation of subsidy is difficult to continue with the increase in the scale of electric vehicles. Non-economic incentive policy is more realistic for the promotion of electric vehicles and to reduce the possibility of subsidy cheating.
