What is it about?

In this article we demonstrate the use of Co2O4/TiO2 as efficient catalyst for the production of alcohals from CO2.

Why is it important?

In general, CO2 photoreduction to produce alcohols has shown low conversion efficiency and low selectivity of the products. In this investigation, Co3O4/TiO2 photocatalysts were used for efficient alcohol production during CO2 photoreduction with H2O, using UV or visible light.

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long-standing collaborations.
