What is it about?
In the paper we investigate the effect of additives on the solar thermochemical splitting of water and carbon dioxide for syn-gas production. The addition of chromium on the surface of ceria improved the reaction kinetics, leading to 'faster' production of hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
