This review summarizes the importance of silicoaluminophosphate framework materials on hydroisomerization of alkane/alkenes. The role of catalysts morphology, structure, acidity and crystal domain on hydroisomerization over SAPO has been elaborated. The importance of composite materials for improving the branched isomer selectivity on hydroisomerization of alkane/alkene also elaborated.
