What is it about?
In this study, we used LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® which applies concepts of ‘play’ to get a deeper understanding of participants experiences through metaphorical explanations. The concept was incorporated into our research on the volunteer tourism exchange programme, Worldwide Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF).

Why is it important?
Because LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® offers a useful creative methodology for exploring socially constructed realities that are complex, dynamic and therefore demand a multi-dimensional approach to tourism studies.
Perspectives
I hope that this method, which uses LEGO® bricks, can bring interesting insights and perspective for future research projects.
