What is it about?
Minus (short sighted) lenses are sometimes used to treat intermittent divergent strabismus (squint). We propose that the lenses may not do this by "making the eyes focus more", but might work by correcting any over-focus induced by the need to converge more to overcome a primary divergent eye position
