What is it about?
To study the relationship between serum DNA and breast cancer proliferative activity, then compare the diagnostic and prognostic values of serum DNA, TPS and CEA. We found that serum TPS is superior to DNA and CEA as diagnostic markers. Preoperative CEA level has a prognostic role in predicting relapse of breast cancer patients, but not serum TPS and DNA.

Why is it important?
This article can be clinically applied to give us a tool (serum DNA, TPS and CEA) to predict the occurrence of breast cancer and also to predict the clinical outcome of breast cancer patients after recieving 6 cycles of chemotherapy
Perspectives
this article give us a non-invasive technique by which we can predict the occurrence and clinical outcome of breast cancer in such a way that a blood sample just is withdrawn from patients vein, can tell us about the status of the patients. this article is important for both patients and clinicians
