Why is it important?

Nanotechnology is becoming increasingly important for the food sector.Milk and milk proteins are used as nano-spheres, nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, nanotubes and nanocomposite films. In this context, milk protein with structural and physicochemical properties is an excellent tool for production of nano-level bioactive compounds.

Perspectives

There needs to be made to work on humans and animals for determine of these milk protein on the efficacy and bioavailability of the system. The importance issues are the continuation of nanotechnological applications, governments should regulate the commercialization, thus making the consumers aware of the presence of nanofoods in the products. Furthermore, all these possible applications should be evaluated economically and acceptance by consumers
