Why is it important?

Marxism has had a long relationship with social work in practice, but much of this is undocumented. This chapter draws together significant strands of the literature, identifies key debates, and makes proposals for future research.

Perspectives

I undertook the research that informs this chapter while employed as a Senior Research Assistant at Northumbria University. I am very grateful for having had the time and freedom to do this work.
