What is it about?
The study reports from the plant Buxus sempervirens a new steroidal alkaloid called (−)-buxadienine along with two other bases (+)-buxaquamarine and (−)-31-acetoxy-N-benzoylbuxidienine. Structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopy, NMR and others.
