For a sustainable publishing system, reviewers are more important than authors !

What is it about?

The paper explains, why reviewers are so important in a publishing world that judges academic persons by their number of papers and citations. It presents the hypothesis, that if the present publishing system continues, we shall run out of reliable and objective reviewers.

Why is it important?

The paper is important because it contributes another puzzlestone towards the need for a change in the way we publish scientific work.
