Children transportation to school by bus is analysed by looking at barriers the block service quality delivery in Ghana. Students' views were sourced on bus mobility attributes because they are regulars users of the bus.

Why is it important?
The paper addresses one of the gaps in the transportation literature by exploring determinants influencing the delivery of quality bus services on students in Sunyani Municipality’s primary and junior high (middle) schools which typified the largest school catchment areas at the regional level.

Data on school transport by bus in the Sunyani Municipality of Ghana.
The data were obtained via a probability sampling technique. 403 students were selected in 20 schools out of 47 registered private schools (primary and Junior High schools in Sunyani Municipality) to explore obstacles to the delivery of quality bus service via interviewer-administered questionnaire with closed-ended questions.
