What is it about?

Analysis of barriers that prevent consumers to switch to smartphone payments. Perceived security is significant meaning people do not want to use smartphones when they consider them unsafe. Technological issues are mostly a problem, however, does not prevent usage/adoption.

Why is it important?

The results show that there is a potential to lower at least the perceived security barriers to make smartphone payments more attractive to consumers by increasing their knowledge of how they work.
