What is it about?

We estimate a Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium model for the Galician fleet fishing the southern stock of hake. The estimation is performed using Bayesian methods. As a counterfactual analysis, we also simulate a looser European Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). We find that from the productivity point of view, a looser CFP does not benefit the fleet.
