Why is it important?

This work involves the development of a dye system based on naturally occurring compounds. Furanones have a pleasant flavor and are considered non-toxic. They can be used to develop fluorescent sensors and as fluorescent labels for analytical applications.

Perspectives

I am really proud of this work as it is generated from the graduation projects of MSc and BSc students.
