What is it about?

The development of a dye suitable for light emitting diodes (OLEDs) applications as well as solar energy harvesting is of utmost importance. In this work, the photophysical properties of pyrazoline-based fluorescence dye were presented. Unraveling the luminescence properties of the dye will allow its evaluation for future applications.

Why is it important?

To conserve energy now-a-days researchers from all corners of the globe are trying to develop material for LEDs and for the collection of sunlight energy. This group of compounds are characterized by their strong ability to absorb and emit light.

Perspectives

This article was the result of long collaborations between scientists from different chemistry disciplines. Being written by our Ph.D. student is a source of joy and a feeling of satisfaction. I am really honored to be the coordinator of this excellent article. We have been really fascinated by the pyrazoline ring, which is one of the compounds that are not well investigated.
