What is it about?
Composition is an important parameter for a semiconductor. We have shown that the working electrode configuration in an electrochemical cell is affecting the compositional distribution of Cu-Zn-Sn metallic layer even within the 1 cm^2 area.

Why is it important?
This finding is particularly important for any type of semiconducting material synthesized via electrodeposition route for the reproducibility of the work and to modify the system parameters(cell configuration and/or electrolyte solution) to be able to manufacture larger scale materials.
