Contributions of global companies with offices in Saudi Arabia and local companies to support the local sustainability through community partnerships

What is it about?

The goal of this study is to assess the contribution of local and international companies investing in Saudi Arabia to support local sustainability; in line with Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study's findings confirmed that firms close to the SDG goals reap the most benefits. Such global affiliations allow the sharing of organizational, human and sustainability assets thereby enhancing local sustainability endeavour.

Why is it important?

The work provides practical implications for sustainability leaders, highlighting the importance of partnerships in creating value, developing innovative solutions and increasing stakeholders’ trust in relation to SDGs. From the perspective of practical implications for sustainable business practice, this research offers ideal solutions about how to address the labyrinth of sustainable management and shows the win–win nature of professionally arranged partnership for companies located in the global and local contexts.
