Why is it important?
For car body vibration measurements and suspension defect diagnoses, it is suggested that the cutoff frequency of the LPF had to be increased to 9 Hz at least. Furthermore, using a smartphone with a sampling rate of 100 Hz could obtain the desired results for vibration analyses.
Perspectives
I hope that smartphone with a gravity sensor for railway vehicle vibration measurements could be widely applied in the future.
