What is it about?

Microwaving was used to rapidly synthezised zeolite or Hydroxysosalite from a kaolin. It is shown that zeolite is produces from akolin under 10 minutes microwaving at a power between 160 W and 320 W whereas beoyng 320 W hydroxysodalite is the dominant phase.

Why is it important?

The interest of the work is the preparation of value added materials (zeolite or hydroxysodalite) under microwaving which lead to time and energy saving.

Perspectives

develop porous materials from available kaolin in Cameroon for applications in catalysis and environmental remediation
