Why is it important?

This research has shown the importance of a tailored therapy with combination of different analgesics, when terminal cancer patients have a difficult pain to be treated.

The study is opening a research path on the treatment of cancer pain patients. More studies would be necessary to explore new combinations, and/or diffeent dosages of the same drugs.
