What is it about?

The paper entails the fabrication of amine-functionalized magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles with a simultaneous method to assess the synthesis of graphene oxide using the hummers method. The slight modification gives flakes sizes of graphene less than 200 nm verified by transmission electron microscopy. The amine-functionalized IONP grafted on GO (GOIOI) by carbodiimide chemistry provides a larger area for the loading of biomolecules and therapeutic agents. The GOIOI use for drug loading by probe sonication method provides the highest loading efficiency.
