Why is it important?

Conducting research and publishing it are tedious tasks, but are usually done with a group of researchers contributing in part, thereby reducing the burden. However, when it comes to a care report, it is usually 1-3 clinicians who need to prepare a short and interesting description, such that it passes muster of the editor and the per reviewers. This is further compounded by the fact that case reports are the submissions which have the highest rejection rates. Knowing how to write a publishable case report will definitely add to your skill set, and help in expanding your CV.
