What is it about?
This study explores the psychological well-being of older Ghanaians, and factors related to this, from the perspectives of older adults. The study finds that older Ghanaians experience a mixture of good mental health and depression. This is because, on the one hand, they are happy and proud about having lived long, on the other hand, they are depressed over their difficult socioeconomic circumstances.
