What is it about?
The investigation results on the stability of the activity and selectivity of Ga- and Zn-containing catalysts based on BEA zeolite in the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with CO2 have been analyzed. According to XRD, nitrogen adsorption/desorption, and Raman spectroscopy data, it is established that the change in the activity/selectivity of the catalysts during 10 h of operation results from surface carbonization involving Brønsted acid sites. After regeneration in the temperature-programmed oxidative mode (20% O2 + 80% He, 650°C), the catalysts’ activity is restored.
