What is it about?

High activity and durability of NiBEA with a high dealumination degree of zeolite support in the DRM process have been shown. This catalyst allows simultaneous conversion of methane and reduction of CO2 excess with the formation of synthesis gas.

Why is it important?

Dry reforming of methane (DRM) is one promising option for CO2 utilization to produce syngas. The developed NiBEA catalyst allows simultaneous conversion of methane and reduction of CO2 excess with the formation of synthesis gas, a more valuable product for liquid fuel synthesis by the Fischer-Tropsch process.
