What is it about?
In summary, we have applied a new commercial cement block as a substrate for TiO2-SiO2 nanohybrid as an effective photocatalyst, which can be used in large scale applications. The photodegradation of three dyes (MO, MB and MG) as organic pollutants were examined to determine the efficiency of the nano-TiO2-SiO2 supported on white cement block at acidic pH and under UV illumination.
