Improved functionalization of oleic acid-coated iron oxide nanoparticles for biomedical applications

What is it about?

We developed a new method to functionalize oleic acid coated iron oxide nanoparticles with siloxanes. By using a sonicator, we reduced particle aggregation and improved the reproducibility.
