What is it about?

The analysis of the model of partial crack closure in a body with heat release weakened by a doubly periodic system of identical cylindrical channels with circular cross sections was reduced to the joint parametric investigation of resolving algebraic system of equations of thermoelastic problem for various values of free parameters of the analyzed body. These parameters include various thermal and mechanical characteristics of the material and the geometric sizes of the channels. The established relations enable to solve the inverse problem, i.e., to determine the parameters of internal heat sources intensity and the stressed state of the body corresponding to a given contact area of the crack faces.
