What is it about?
The Nobel prize in physics 2022 was awarded for performances of the so-called Bell experiment, whose result is impossible to understand in classical terms. A simple explanation is offered here: Any person is unable to at the same time keep in his mind two basic related variables and a third one, related to one of the two and essentially different from the other. This is a mathematical consequence of a part of my general theory in the article 'An alternative foundationdation of quantum theory' arXiv: 2305.06727 [quant-ph] (2023).

Why is it important?
The Bell experiment is about an inequality between physical variables, violated by quantum theory, but at the same time motivated by some simple considerations. It is very important to understand this situation in terms of simple properties of variables. It is also important to realize that we all are limited in some specific way.
Perspectives
On the long run, it seems to be of some importance that we realise our own limitations, which seem to extend to many situations. Such limitations have been claimed in part in the context of religion, but has so far not been seen in realtionship to science.
