Why is it important?

This paper gives insight on what and how about of tree diversity and trees outside forest (TOF). This study also shows the elevational pattern of tree richness along the altitudinal gradient in midhills of Nepal. This paper also shows that biodiversity can be conserved in agricultural landscape , a win-win situation in production and conservation.
