What is it about?
We study how the second order cone program in its primal and dual form is related to the semi-definite program in an interesting way, and this study contributes to the literature in having a better understanding on their relationship.

Why is it important?
This study reveals an overlooked relation between a second order cone program and a semi-definite program.
Perspectives
In this work, we looked more closely into the way a second order cone program is related to a semi-definite program, besides what is commonly known in the literature on how a second order cone can be written as a positive semi-definite matrix.
