What is it about?

Electrodeposited chromium oxide-hydroxide films were studied to detect their chemical and phase composition, electrochemical activity to understand the reasons of electrochemical activity improvement after addition of Li-ions in electrolyte designated for these films synthesis.

Why is it important?

It is worth noting that information about chromium oxide-hydroxide rechargeable electrodes in Li-batteries(Li-ion batteries) is quite limited and prospectives exist to prepare thin film electrodes as well as very thin and flexible batteries
