What is it about?
To suppress signals from fatty tissues, we have to consider the presence of Olefinic fat in fatty tissues. We have clarified the influence due to Olefinic fat and proposed new technique to complete suppress signal from fatty tissues.

Why is it important?
Frequency selective Fat Suppression RF pulse suppress the signal from aliphatic fat (Lipid) protons, but it is difficult to suppress the signal from olefinic fat protons. The signal from olefinic fat interferes with diagnosis. We have shown new technique that can suppress the signal from both aliphatic fat and olefinic fat protons.
