What is it about?

The model of the weakened interparticle bonds zone of the material in the form of a plastic flow area at constant stress admits to analyze the limit equilibrium in perforated heat-releasing material at which the cracking occurs. Such a variant of the cracking model admits to estimate the critical intensity of internal heat sources and limit size of the prefracture zone. The size of the limit minimal zone of weakened interparticle bonds of the heat-releasing material at which the crack nucleation occurs should be considered as design characteristics of the fuel cell material.
