What is it about?
This püblication is a "Leserbrief" (German for "letter to the Editor") which criticizes a review by Urban Wiesing of my article on the concept of disease in "Philosophie der Medizin" (ed. 2021 by Orsolya Friedrich ans Claudia Bozzaro) by showing that it uses exclusively fictive "fake" citations of my work.

Why is it important?
In philosophy of medicine, there is much controversy about the theoretical concept of disease. My paper in he edited volume (see above) offers a novel solution in this debate by introducing and defending the medical concept of "disease entity".
Perspectives
I suggest that philosophy of medicine and of the concept of disease shoüld concentrate on the medical theoriy and its conceptual structure, particularly on the concept "disease entity".
