Why is it important?

A better understanding of bone tracer uptake pattern will enhance the clinical value of SPECT/CT in patients after total hip arthroplasty. It is important to safely differentiate between symptomatic and asymptomatic patterns of bone tracer uptake, This study helps to better understand typical BTU pattern in patients after THA.

Perspectives

Based on this findings diagnostics using SPECT/CT will become easier to read for the radiologist and nuclear physician.
