What is it about?

We combined a historical account of dynamic testing with the past and current understanding of wood behaviour, to teach and provide a holistic perspective for the future possibilities of testing for wood dynamic properties.

Why is it important?

This work was important for the recognition that wood is incredibly difficult to categorize, in the way past research has already created a precedent. It is important for future material testing to include larger scales of wood to accurately represent the structures we wish to build.
