On the Iterates of Jackson type Operator Gs,n

What is it about?

In this paper we study the limit of the iterates of a large class of linear bounded operators preserving constants. The proofs are based on spectral theory of linear operators.

Why is it important?

Badea generalized to a large class of continuous linear operators T the convergence results of the iterates of Bernstein operator toward operator of linear interpolation. The conditions tequired for T include preserving linear function. In contrast, our result gives method based on spectral theory for operators pteserving only constant functions.
