What is it about?

A simple deconvolution-based method to estimate drug absorption rate from the blood drug level data.

Why is it important?

In the method, blood drug level after iv bolus administration is represented by a bi-exponential equation: A x exp(-alpha x t) + B x exp(-beta x t). Input parameters: A, B, alpha, beta After giving the actual blood drug levels at time intervals after oral administration, successfully, then the absorption rates can be generated.
