What is it about?
How the space industry is currently structured and how to understand the near future possibilities. The book contains 12 chapters about the overall industry and specific sectors such as data generation, Earth Observation, and tourism. It updates understanding of commercial activities of firms acting in space-related industries or utilizing services provided by space technology firms. This is about “New Space” where commercial activities in space are mainly taken by private firms, partly replacing the actions of government-resourced space institutions, i.e., “Old Space.”
